Gemma joined Active Neuro Rehabilitation Hub – Gateshead in 2012.

Gemma is a dedicated physiotherapist with a Master’s degree in Physiotherapy and a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology. Her journey began with a deep interest in the role of physiotherapy within rehabilitation, where she has cultivated a strong therapeutic ethos. With years of experience as a Neurological Physiotherapist, Gemma has worked with diverse clients facing various challenges, including polytrauma, amputation, neurological conditions, pain management, and learning difficulties.

Gemma’s clinical expertise spans multiple settings, including forensic secure units, rehabilitation centres, hydrotherapy pools, and gyms.

She is passionate about building relationships with her clients, their families, and support teams, always aiming to tailor treatment plans to meet each client’s unique functional goals. By collaborating closely with interdisciplinary teams, Gemma ensures a holistic approach to rehabilitation, enhancing her patients’ well-being at every step.
