Nick has worked at Woodlands Neurological Rehabilation Centre for four and a half years and has over 30 years of experience in healthcare services, including 20 years in medium secure and prison service environments. Early in his career, he trained and worked as a Chef in hotels, restaurants, and healthcare settings before transitioning into a support services role.

He currently divides his time between two Active Neuro sites – Woodlands Neurological Rehabiliation Centre and Nottingham Brain Injury Rehabiliation Centre, overseeing both locations. His responsibilities include managing health and safety, maintenance, catering, and housekeeping, as well as coordinating building upkeep and liaising with contractors to enhance the environment.

Nick takes great satisfaction in making a positive difference for the people supported by the service and in improving facilities to meet their needs.

Outside of work, he enjoys going to the gym, cooking for his family, and attending live music events, aiming to see as many performances as possible each year.
