Rebecca is the Matron at Hothfield Neurological Rehabilitation Centre, bringing over 24 years of nursing and leadership experience across both the NHS and private healthcare sectors. With 19 years in the NHS and a further five in private care, Rebecca has built a diverse and compassionate career spanning district nursing, complex care, general nursing, health promotion, and service development.
Her leadership is defined by innovation and dedication to evidence-based practice. During the COVID-19 pandemic, Rebecca played a pivotal national role in managing and overseeing testing clinics across both the north and south of England. She led research and data collection initiatives to support public health strategies, ensuring clinical accuracy and operational efficiency in a rapidly evolving healthcare landscape.
Beyond her clinical expertise, Rebecca is deeply passionate about staff development, patient-centred rehabilitation, and service improvement. She brings a unique perspective shaped by 28 years of personal and professional experience supporting individuals with autism, ADHD, and OCD. Her advocacy also extends into her voluntary work with domestic abuse cases, where she has supported many successful legal outcomes—reflecting her strong sense of justice, empathy, and commitment to helping others.
Outside of work, Rebecca enjoys kayaking and spending time with her children and grandchildren. Her compassionate leadership and multifaceted experience make her a valued part of Hothfield and a distinctive voice within the wider Active Care Group network.
