Active Neuro and Active Care Group are delighted to announce the official launch of our new clinical and therapeutic partnership with Chroma, the UK’s leading provider of creative arts therapies.

From this week, Chroma will be delivering a fully MDT-embedded Neurologic Music Therapy® (NMT) and MATADOC service across two of our specialist Active Neuro services: Hunters Moor Neurological Rehabilitation Service in Birmingham and Nottingham Neurological Rehabilitation Service in Nottingham.

From October it will be offered at our Woodlands Neurological Rehabilitation Service in York, and Hothfield Neurological Rehabilitation Service in Kent. The service will be integrated seamlessly into our multi-disciplinary teams to support patients with neurological conditions on their rehabilitation journey.

Daniel Thomas, Managing Director at Chroma said: “I’m absolutely delighted that Chroma is partnering with ACG’s Active Neuro rehabilitation services to deliver Neurologic Music Therapy™ as part of the core MDT offer. This marks a significant step forward for Active Care Group patients, whether funded through litigation, private means, or the NHS.

Dr Amit Chatterjee, Managing Director at Active Neuro said: “We are committed to providing the highest quality, evidence-based rehabilitation for our patients. Partnering with Chroma allows us to bring innovative and proven therapies, such as Neurologic Music Therapy®, directly into our services. This collaboration strengthens our holistic, multi-disciplinary approach and reflects our ambition to continually evolve and enhance the care we deliver for people living with neurological conditions.

By embedding Chroma’s consistent, multi-site Neurologic Music Therapy™ service, we not only enhance clinical outcomes but also create an exciting opportunity to generate meaningful outcomes data across the pathway.

It speaks volumes about Active Care Group’s long-term vision and commitment to innovation in neurorehabilitation.”
