We’re pleased to announce that Hothfield Neurological Rehabilitation Centre in Kent is the newest addition to our expanding network of services, and marked its official launch with three open evenings this week. The service specialises in intensive neurological rehabilitation for adults with complex conditions resulting from injury, illness or disease.
Guests from across sectors, including solicitors, charities, case managers, as well as colleagues from Active Care Group and former patients, were welcomed on Tuesday 16th September with a drinks reception to mark the opening of the service, on the first of the three open evenings.

With a selection of food catered by Apetito, guests took a tour of the newly refurbished service. They saw our new robotic and assistive technology used to enhance rehabilitation, the state-of-the-art Hydro Pool, accessible en-suite bedrooms, and met our team.

The Active Neuro Leadership team at Hothfield Neurological Rehabilitation Centre then discussed how our technology-enhanced clinical pathways are leading the way in a new era of neurorehabilitation, and how we’re measurable, data-driven, and focused on achieving the best outcomes.
Chief Medical Officer and Managing Director of Active Neuro, Dr Amit Chatterjee, shared, “The launch of Hothfield Neurological Rehabilitation Centre is another important step in our commitment to making high-quality neurological rehabilitation more accessible across the UK. This service combines skilled, hands-on clinical care with cutting-edge technology to support individuals through some of the most challenging periods in their lives.”
Ruth Lambert, Interim Hospital Director, Hothfield Neurological Rehabilitation Centre, added, “It’s been fantastic to see the Hothfield team come together with such energy and purpose. From the start, we’ve been focused on building a service that not only delivers exceptional care but also creates a safe, welcoming environment for individuals and their families during rehabilitation.”
The open evenings mark the next step for Active Neuro, part of the Active Care Group, with further announcements to follow throughout the rest of 2025.
