We are delighted to share that Hothfield Neurological Rehabilitation Centre in Kent, an Active Neuro service, part of Active Care Group, has been named as a finalist in the Healthcare Design Awards 2026.
The Healthcare Design Awards recognise innovation and excellence in the design of healthcare facilities and care homes.
Set in Kent within the 12-acre grounds of a manor house, Hothfield Neurological Rehabilitation Centre specialises in intensive rehabilitation for people in the early stages of recovery from a brain injury, right through to residential care.
The service has been nominated in the following categories:
- Best Architectural Design – Healthcare Facility
This category recognises outstanding architectural design in new healthcare facilities, with consideration of innovative layouts and aesthetics.
- Best Interior Design – Healthcare Facility
This award recognises outstanding interior design of healthcare facilities – e.g., the use of colour, materials, and signage to improve the patient experience.
Hothfield Neurological Rehabilitation Centre is a newly refurbished service that includes new robotic and assistive technologies to enhance rehabilitation, accessible en-suite bedrooms, a therapy kitchen, and communal spaces/activity rooms.
Our nominations come at a time of exciting developments across Active Neuro’s services, with a strong focus on outcomes-led, multidisciplinary support for people living with the effects of brain injury and neurological conditions.
The awards ceremony takes place on 12 February 2026 at the London Hilton, Park Lane – best of luck to all the nominees.
