Woodlands Neurological Rehabilitation Centre in York were pleased to launch Active Neuro, part of Active Care Group, with an open evening. The open evening marked the beginning of an exciting phase at Active Care Group’s existing neurological services, which will provide technology-enhanced rehabilitation for adults in the UK with neurological conditions resulting from injury, illness, or disease.
Guests, including colleagues, solicitors, charities and former patients, were welcomed with a drinks reception, making the most of the lovely weather in the scenic gardens of Woodlands Neurological Rehabilitation Centre. With a selection of food catered by Olive & Belle, guests had the opportunity to network with each other and meet the team at the service. Shortly after food, members of the Active Neuro Leadership and Woodlands Team presented the Active Neuro offering, talking through the therapies, rehabilitation equipment available, the team that will be delivering the care, and more.

Later in the evening, guests were invited to explore the enhanced environment and rehabilitation equipment in the gym. Seeing and trying the ArmMotus™ M2 Gen, Luna EMG, Ankle Motus, DST Step Ramp, ExoMotus M4 and Anti-Gravity Treadmill gave guests the opportunity to experience first-hand the innovative rehabilitation available to patients.
