Our team

Our expert team

Together, we deliver coordinated, person-centred care designed around individual goals. Every person we support is cared for by a specialist multidisciplinary team (MDT). Rehabilitation is a partnership: our teams work closely with each patient, their family and wider support network to understand what recovery means to them and to establish clear, meaningful, and achievable goals.

In depth

How each discipline works with you.

Physiotherapy
Physiotherapy

Rebuilding movement, strength and balance

Our highly experienced physiotherapists specialise in neurological recovery, combining expert hands-on therapy with the UK's most advanced rehabilitation technology. Sessions are intensive and repeated daily, working towards the goals set on admission: sitting, standing, transferring, walking.

Occupational therapy

The everyday tasks that make going home possible

Our experienced occupational therapists work on washing, dressing, cooking and getting around, in the therapy kitchen, the bedrooms and the community. Where a task cannot be done the old way, they find a new one, and prepare the home and the family for discharge.

Speech and language therapy
Speech and language therapy

Communication and safe swallowing

Our specialist speech and language therapists assess and treat difficulties with speaking, understanding and swallowing after stroke or brain injury, working with the person and the people closest to them so conversation and mealtimes return.

Psychology
Psychology

Adjusting to a life-changing event

Consultant neuropsychologists and psychology assistants support memory, attention, mood and confidence, and help individuals and families adjust to what has happened and what comes next.

Nursing and medical care

Consultant-led, around the clock

Rehabilitation medicine consultants, resident doctors, registered nurses and therapeutic healthcare assistants provide expert 24-hour care, so complex medical needs, including tracheostomy and respiratory weaning, are managed on site while rehabilitation continues.
