Kate is the Head of Therapies at Woodlands Neurological Rehabilitation Centre and a highly specialist Speech and Language Therapist, leading a dedicated team focused on restoring function and independence following brain injury.

She joined Active Care Group in January 2021, bringing with her extensive clinical experience from hyperacute settings, where she specialised in tracheostomy management and complex dysphagia, supporting patients through critical stages of recovery. Kate worked within trauma rehabilitation and neurosurgery teams for several years, providing care across the full pathway — from admission to A&E through to discharge from neurological rehabilitation.

In her current role, she oversees the therapy team at Woodlands Neurological Rehabilitation Centre, ensuring that rehabilitation is evidence-based, collaborative, and tailored to each individual’s journey. Kate is deeply passionate about empowering people to reclaim their independence and to redefine what is possible after injury. She is immensely proud of the team’s work and the meaningful impact they make in the lives of those they support.
